Oribi Aquaponics – Namibia

Namibia is home to the oldest desert in the world. With the harsh arid landscapes, low amounts of water and extreme weather conditions – aquaponics is quickly changing the ability for Namibia to move closer to their goal as a net exporter for fresh produce.

• 1 x 3000sqm hybrid aquaponics system with media beds and DWCs.
• 2300 m² grow space

Phase 1 of the project is now live, and phase 2 (an extra 3,000sqm) will be live before the end of 2024.
